Terms and conditions<\/strong><\/p>

The following terms and conditions apply to the purchase of products from Hundad\u00f3t.is to consumers.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

\u2013 Order<\/strong><\/p>

Orders are binding when they are registered on the seller's server. This happens when the buyer has confirmed the order in step 3. The seller is also bound to process the buyer's order as long as it is in accordance with the product range and pricing. The buyer has the right to cancel the purchase according to the Consumer Purchase Act, see more in the article Right to defects or deficiencies. <\/em><\/strong>The seller sends the buyer a confirmation when an order is placed, but only if the buyer has registered their email address when purchasing. The buyer is advised to carefully review the order confirmation when it is received. You should also make sure that it is consistent with the intended order.<\/p>

\u2013 Information<\/strong><\/p>

The seller provides information about products to the best of his knowledge at any time. The seller publishes all information subject to faults, viruses, printing, display and typing errors in text, prices and images. Furthermore, the seller reserves the right to cancel the buyer's order in whole or in part if the product is sold out. Under such circumstances, the buyer will receive a notification along with information about what could possibly be a suitable replacement. The buyer will then have the option to accept the proposal or cancel the order in its entirety.<\/p>

\u2013 Price<\/strong><\/p>

Prices are constantly changing at the seller due to competition and supplier price changes. Price increases that occur after a customer's order are not reversible. The price that applies is the one that was in effect when the order was placed and is stated on the order confirmation.
The total cost is stated before the buyer finally confirms the order. It includes all costs related to the order, such as service, shipping, etc. Only special cases may involve additional costs after order confirmation.<\/p>

\u2013 Payment<\/strong><\/p>

You can pay for your order by credit card. When paying by credit card, the amount is debited when the order is processed from stock. If payment for an online order is not received within 1 hour, the seller reserves the right to cancel the order.<\/p>

\u2013 Delivery and delay<\/strong><\/p>

Delivery is considered to be within a reasonable time frame from the date of invoice. The purchase process will state what to expect based on the selected shipping method. The seller only delivers products within Iceland. If delivery is delayed, the seller will notify the buyer along with information about when the order will be ready for delivery or offer a substitute product if the product is out of stock.<\/p>

\u2013 Product review<\/strong><\/p>

After the buyer has received the order, he must check whether it is in accordance with the order confirmation, whether anything has been damaged in transit and that all products are according to the product description and are not defective. These terms and conditions assume that the buyer has read and familiarized himself with the instructions and\/or manual that accompany the purchased product upon delivery,<\/p>

\u2013 Right to defects or deficiencies<\/strong><\/p>

If the product is defective or something is missing from the product, the seller is obliged to offer the buyer a repair, a new product, a discount or a cancellation of the purchase. It depends on the circumstances which method is chosen in each case. Notification of a defect must be received verbally or in writing. It is recommended that the notification be received within 7 days of the defect being discovered. The consumer's right to have a defect repaired is in accordance with the Consumer Purchase Act No. 48\/2003. The seller reserves the right to verify that the product is defective, although within a reasonable time limit.<\/p>

\u2013 Warranty<\/strong><\/p>

The seller's warranties do not result in restrictions on rights provided for in the Consumer Purchase Act. Warranty for defects in a product is in accordance with the Consumer Purchase Act 48\/2003.<\/p>

Warranty is not confirmed unless a receipt is presented. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the device or the use of consumables, i.e. it does not cover devices that are considered normal to last less than 2 years. However, the general complaint period is 2 years.<\/p>

\u2013 Privacy<\/strong><\/p>

All personal information received by the seller is treated as strictly confidential and is only used for the purpose of completing a transaction.
However, the buyer has the option of receiving an offer via email, and the seller will only use the information required for this purpose, such as a mailing address.<\/p>

Sold goods remain the property of the seller until the purchase price is paid in full.<\/p>

The buyer is advised to send an email with all the information regarding the purchase to hundadot@hundadot.is to get a solution to what he needs. The Hundad\u00f3t.is service phone number is 5626400 and is open from 12-16 every weekday. We encourage our customers to use the service phone number if they wish to receive further information.<\/p>

We deliver the product to the post office for FREE for customers, but they pay the shipping costs themselves, unless the order is for 10,000 kr or more.<\/strong><\/p>
